House orders the development of the initiative to the Association of Environment, which published its results in a web

The Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, has signed this morning with the Association of Environment of the Region of Murcia (EEA-RM) a new cooperation agreement that will create a distinctive energy optimization are commercially municipality.

Miguel Angel House has explained that it is a logo registered by the city of Murcia which may be used by those organizations located in the municipality and the requirements that voluntarily certify that its use entails.
These requirements are framed in the context of voluntary companies and organizations to achieve greater energy efficiency.
The distinctive aims and distinguish those businesses that are committed to sustainability at all levels and having become aware of it, and decided to voluntarily take a series of measures in the field of energy consumption tends to decrease and better use of a resource as necessary as is the energy.
The Action Plan of the Local Strategy to Combat Climate Change in the Municipality of Murcia provides, inter alia, the reduction of greenhouse gases, and was among the recipients of economic sectors such action, the commercial, which expressly provides creating a distinctive identifying those shops and services to take saving measures and energy efficiency.
Voluntary request
The mayor added that such a mark will be voluntary request and for their production should reach the outcomes identified in the document annexed to this Convention.
The goals to be achieved with the agreement is to reconcile economic growth and increased welfare conditions with decreased power consumption, while contributing to the sustainability of our environment and will save money in the energy chapter .
Chamber Mayor explained that the City of Murcia is committed to:
1.
Collaborate with the objectives of the project by providing the information necessary or desirable to advance the progress of actions arising from the subject of this agreement.
2.
Inform all of its sites and services of this collaboration agreement, to give the widest possible dissemination and implementation of campaigns.
3.
Cooperate with the activities under this agreement, for which a grant is arbitrary amount of € 7,000 for 2008, 27,000 euros and 26,200 euros for 2009 to 2010.
4.
Post on the municipal website (www.murcia.es) the names of those businesses who obtain or renew the mark, and in the media that if the City decides
For its part, EEA-RM will:
1.
Development, in 2009, a consultancy on energy efficiency, which is to define measurable parameters that indicate their businesses efficiency, parameters to be subject to quantification, through the development of appropriate self-assessment questionnaire or self-diagnosis -, ultimately obtaining a value of the energy efficiency of each trade.
2.
Developing a Web Tool Self-Test, as a support tool for data acquisition and subsequent exploitation, based on the procedure for measuring energy efficiency developed in the previous section.
This tool consists of a web site developed in VisualStudio.net under SQL Server, to be accommodated in municipal web page, so that all users of the access from the Internet.
The Association of Environment of the Region of Murcia (EEA-RM) is a non-profit entity, registered with the Directorate General of Labour of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, whose objectives include contributing to progress of environmental awareness and the solution of problems related to their management as well as the realization of collaboration agreements with both the authorities targeted information campaigns and the management and coordination of works, studies and projects aimed at improving or environmental protection.
