The City has over 90 projects for the Local Investment Fund (21/01/2009)

The Board of Governors approved the request for funding to expand the center over the Albatalía, pave roads in 29 districts, installing artificial turf and create a new garden, etc.

The City Council has submitted a total of 94 projects for the Local Investment Fund.

The Governing Board has approved this morning the request for funding from other 30 projects with a total value of 7,758,000 euros.

The City Council will expand the Community Center's Senior Albatalía with an investment of more than 237,000 euros.

The aim is to equip the center of a multi-purpose space and adapted toilets.

It has also been given the nod to the paving of roadways and sidewalks in a total of 29 districts: Bacons Bridge, Los Dolores, Los Martínez del Puerto, Canadas de San Pedro, Stables, The Esparragal, Cabeza de Torres, Plain Bruges Zeneta, Cobatillas, Santa Cruz, Torreagüera, Los Ramos, Algezares, Aljucer, Boatmen, Barriomar-La Purisima, El Palmar, Era Alta, Espinardo, Guadalupe, Nuevo Javalí, La Alberca, La Ñora, Los Garres, San Ginés, Sangonera la Seca, Sangonera la Verde and Santo Angel.

All these works add a cost of 7,288,000 euros.

In the section on urban renewal, the Board of Governors has approved other specifications as the installation of artificial turf soccer fields from 18 districts: Churra, El Raal, Sangonera la Verde, Casillas, La Alberca, Los Garres , Espinardo, The Esparragal, Sangonera la Seca, Puebla de Soto, Cabeza de Torres, the strut, Patiño, Torreagüera, Zeneta, Sucina Javalí Javalí New and Old.

Also build new changing facilities at the football field Churra.

In the section on gardens and recreational spaces, has given the green light to the project of building a garden on Calle San Antonio de Murcia.

The works will include the paving of transit zones in stone and wood, installing a playground on a rubber floor and the planting of various shrubs.

Also included in this section the remodeling of the garden on the streets of La Paz de La Nora.

Finally, it is planned to build 400 new niches and 240 graves in the cemetery of Our Lord Jesus.
