Murcia: "Higher taxes in Spain," according PSOE (19/01/2009)

The Socialist councilor, Alfonso Navarro, said that the IBI (property tax), IAE (Tax on economic activity) and surplus (tax on the increased value of urban land) in the municipality of Murcia are among the highest in Spain.

Navarro said that the IBI of Murcia (former urban contribution), at a rate of 0.68%, ranked No. 7 among the most expensive of the 17 capital region of Spain.

Socialist Councillor stresses in cities such as Madrid, La Coruña, Logroño, Zaragoza, Palma de Mallorca, Gran Canaria, Santander ... has a lower property tax in the municipality of Murcia.
