The Governing Board will contract the works with companies to create more jobs (16/01/2009)

Companies offering hiring more workers are more likely to be awarded the contract driven by the City of Murcia in the Local Investment Fund.

This was approved by the Board of Governors in the coming days.

The Mayor's decision of giving priority to job creation on other conditions will make the scale of the specification scores with a 50% hiring labor unemployed.

The award criteria and conditions for execution of works also grant preference to companies that intend to offer to reduce delays and to raise the conservation-related improvements and maintenance works, both rated with 20% -.

Thus, only 10% weighed against the possible decline of the price.

Thus, the model of administrative clauses approved by the Board of Governors in the coming days to boost investment will contribute to boost the economy and, above all, the generation of new jobs among the unemployed.

So far, the City Council has approved a total of 89 projects, mostly aimed at improving the urban structures, building sports facilities, infrastructure improvements to road safety and accessibility in parishes and reform urban environments (gardens, parks, avenues, etc.).

Such actions have a total investment of 65.4 million euros, which is why next week adopted new initiatives worth 9.4 million euros, thus completing the 74.8 million euros related to the municipality of Murcia.
