The Science Park will employ 41 people and first building will house eight companies and the Supercomputing Center (14/01/2009)

The Foundation Board of the Science Park Murcia, chaired by the regional chief executive, Ramon Luis Valcarcel, today approved the installation of eight companies specializing in R + D + i in the first building of the technological infrastructure, which will employ 41 people , and is scheduled to open in the first quarter of this year.

This budget is double that of 2008, 4.6 million, which confirms the commitment of regional government proactive strategies in the field of technology and innovation that create the conditions for diversification of industrial activity value and the development of R & D.

Thus, in the first building of the Science Park will work 33 employees of these companies and eight experts from the Center for Supercomputing Ben Arabi.

Objectives for 2009

Is expected to begin work on the Senate Park, an architectural project, won in competition for the Fernando de Retes Murcia, which includes three buildings to create a common space devoted to technology-based companies.

The works will be completed in 2010 creating a joint space of 6,000 square meters for housing and service companies.
