The shows 'Islamic Mirror' Anglo-Indian artist Anish Kapoor, which is displayed in the Museum of Murcia Las Claras, expand your exposure period until 10 February due to the interest of the public and the artist.
This exhibition, whose curator is Rosa Martinez is co-produced by the Autonomous Community and Bancaja.
Islamic Mirror is a circular, concave mirror of 2.40 meters in diameter and about 80 kilos in weight, composed of small fragments octagonal and square, and his perfect articulation refers to the formal traffic, mathematical and geometric between the square and the sphere, historically significant intellectual concern for mystics, scientists and artists.
The concave mirror set creates an upside-opaque shadow of what is in front, while the fragments that compose octagonal reflect a positive image of what is nearby.
The audience, when they approached, they will see themselves in multiple images, in addition to changing colors and light tones in the outdoor spaces of the cloister.
