The PP government team works approved 13 projects totaling 12.8 million euros (17/12/2008)

The Governing Board, chaired by the Mayor, Miguel Angel House, has given the green light to the second set of projects to be submitted to incorporate the Local Investment Fund.

There were 13 performances in the amount of 12.8 million euros.

The agreement adopted today adds to that approved last week and, in short, is the presentation of 19 performances of works, whose budget amounts to 31.7 million euros.

Taken together, allow for the recruitment of 480 people, at least.

Both the drafting of technical projects at MAP susceptible to their consideration by the Board of Governors has taken place when today marks the first week in force for the submission of the draft Local Investment Fund.

The 13 actions have given the green light today are:

Remodeling projects of gardens: they are the first projects approved for the improvement of green areas but not the only ones.

Is drafting up plans for other gardens to be incorporated in the reforms.

The have now approved a budget of 3 million and provide for the hiring of at least 34 people.

The works will take place in the gardens of the Constitution € 378,000 - € 843,000 Chinese - Palm € 720,000 - Galdo Street, El Carmen € 355,000 - Ponce Abellán, in Fleet € 337,000 - along cultural center Sucina € 189,000 - and the West, of New Javalí € 237,000 -.

Construction of sidewalks: The estimated cost is 9.1 million euros, with a lead time of 5 months and the recruitment of at least 259 workers.

The projects will take place in Santa Maria de Gracia, The Fleet and Vistalegre (1.9 million); Infante Juan Manuel (1.8 million euros), Barrio del Carmen (1 million), San Antón, San Basilio and the Rane (1.3 million), center, La Fama, La Paz and Vistabella (1.7 million) and San Andres and San Antolin (1.2 million euros).

In future meetings, the Governing Board continue to approve new projects to be submitted before 24 January.

Will work on improving road infrastructure, urban integration and gardens in neighborhoods and districts and public spaces, road safety, installation of artificial turf soccer fields hamlets, etc.
