The City Hall remodel the town of La Alberca to enhance their business (14/12/2008)

The renodelación of the urban centers of districts to streamline and enhance the business of the area remains one of the priority actions of the City of Murcia.

The project and contract specifications for the refurbishment of the town of the village of La Alberca has already been approved, for a total of 240,000 euros, so that the works will begin next year.

This project also are the result of the collaboration agreement signed between the Autonomous Community and the city of Murcia.

The work will take place at the Casino Square, and this is one of the most important public spaces of the urban core of the hamlet, where local festivals are celebrated.

In addition to adapting the plaza, also proceed with the renovation of the streets Benaventura and Cayetano Moreno.

Since these are two closely-way between 5 and 6 meters wide, is replaced by another cobblestone pavement prefabricated, eliminating the sidewalks and facilitating pedestrian access and traffic.
