44,000 euros for immigrant integration projects and volunteer services at the University of Murcia (12/12/2008)

The Governing Council has approved through the Department of Social Policy, Women and Immigration of a subsidy of 44,000 euros to the University of Murcia for the development of projects of integration of immigrants and various volunteer activities that be carried out by the faculties of Economics and Business, Law and Social Practice School.

The aim is to facilitate the integration of the immigrant population in the Region of Murcia, and the provision of services derived from the Volunteer Program, and directed the promotion and development of volunteer projects and awareness, support and coordination to engage society with voluntary movement.
