The Vice President for Business and Infrastructure of the University of Murcia, headed by Professor Antonio Calvo-Flores, has started conducting a study to determine the quality of air we breathe on their campuses.
The work is done by the Technical Unit and the Department of Chemical Engineering, within the action plan called "Sustainable Campus."
The study's main objective is to determine the concentration levels of volatile organic compounds, nitrogen oxides and ozone in urban air of the Merced campus and Espinardo.
On the other hand, within the same plan, the University of Murcia comes these days to the distribution for all campus buildings Espinardo container waste collection.
