Murcia City Council is working since last Friday in the drafting of technical projects capable of forming part of the Local Investment Fund approved by the Government.
Because the allocation formula is the population, Murcia could qualify to 74,841,435 euros.
Projects can not exceed the amount of 5 million euros and should be ended December 31, 2009, so the actual period of work will be between 8 and 9 months.
The Mayor has announced today that it is working on the development of these projects for presentation, taking into account that the time is very short and close on 24 January.
This urgency mean, in his opinion, "the improvisation of the National Government because if they really wanted to carry out such a plan have sufficient time to do it without haste."
The projects submitted by the City of Murcia cover all the areas covered by Royal Decree, especially actions of urban integration, lighting, measures to eliminate all the points of contamination in street lighting, road adequacy of municipal ownership, construction infrastructure, road safety and sporting facilities.
The actions affect both districts as villages.
