A landscape sculpture commemorates the victims of AIDS (01/12/2008)

The Councillor for Environment and Urban Quality, Adela Martinez-Cache, the councilman of Youth and Employment, Lola Sanchez Alarcon, and representatives from the Regional Anti-AIDS Committee inaugurated this morning, coinciding with World AIDS Day, a sculptural landscape remembers the victims of this disease.

This memorial is located in the garden of the Constitution and represents a great bond.

Rama has been designed by White Landscape and performed with the help of students from the School of the City Council Workshop.

For its implementation has been used stone and metal, as well as vegetation and flowers in shades of red.

Has also placed a plaque on which is inscribed a poem by Pepe Velasco, who died suffering from AIDS.

The creation of this memorial has come from the Anti-AIDS Committee of the Region, and was funded by the departments of Environment and Employment.
