The regional government has approved through the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, in aid of 271,417 euros to the Association of Pupaclown clowns, to finance part of construction in Murcia of the center stage of social integration children and youth, with the aim of promoting social integration of youth and children through the culture.
The total amount of the center's construction amounts to 1,680,620 euros.
The autonomous region has previously designed for this purpose a total of 780,000 euros in various annuities.
The building is specially designed to facilitate barrier-free access for persons with disabilities and children and their families in the process of social integration.
Will have an auditorium with seating for 357 spectators, a minisala to 80 people, three spaces for workshops and courses and a space for exhibitions and activities.
In the center are scheduled year-round children's and youth shows, workshops, music therapy, introduction to dance for children and youth with disabilities, verbal and physical expression.
Also be workshops related to child and adolescent psychology to ensure their social and other activities aimed at society as a whole in order to create a standardized integration framework.
This association of clowns aims for bringing theater to health care institutions such as counseling, therapy and social integration.
