As stated by the director of the Cardiovascular Risk Lecture at the Catholic University, José Abellán, at the opening of the symposium.
UCAM has opened this evening in Murcia on the XIX Meeting
Hypertension, which was developed at the University from 27 to 29
November.
The opening ceremony, chaired by the rector of the University
Josefina Garcia Lozano, has also counted with the presence of director
Chair of Cardiovascular Risk UCAM and chairman of the committee
organizer, José Abellán, managing director of Primary Care
Murcia Health Service, Fátima Núñez, and Secretary of the Academy of
Farmacia Santa Maria of Spain, Isabel Tovar.
José Abellán said
during his speech that "for a health care professional is vital to listen
the teachings of other experts. "
Then, Josefina García Lozano, stressed positively
this Symposium.
"Since we hope that this symposium UCAM
strongly contributes to promote, research, teaching and
knowledge transfer, "he asserted.
