The project for the renewal of the district of La Paz is making strides.
The Governing Board today approved the first constitution and the policy agenda of the Compensation Board and the proposed development.
This means that this project has moved beyond the planning stage to begin the process of management, being closer to the start of the works that could be produced in spring.
The City Council approved in March the Special Plan to Reform Interior (PERI) of La Paz, which aims at comprehensive urban renewal district, with urban renewal, the buildings and the relocation of residents.
The June plenary gave its approval to the revised text of the amendment to the General Plan, forwarding the text to the autonomous region for approval.
The promoters of this project are the residents existing homeowners, who will return to his old house a new home at the site of La Paz.
As envisaged in the project, residents of the neighborhood will not even during the execution of works.
1,502 homes will be built 90 square meters for the owners at no cost and will rehabilitate five blocks in good condition.

The rehabilitation project of The CPA provides a complete reinforcement of basic infrastructures main water supply, electricity and sanitation.
The new neighborhood will include bike lanes on major roads.
As for the management of roads, is planned as a structure "H", which will allow traffic flow inside to May Day and Fame.
The deadline for implementation of this project is ten years and will be held in five phases.
