The Mayor presents a guide to more than 100 itineraries for tours, hikers and sports by the City (17/11/2008)

The Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, this morning the most complete tour guide for the city of Murcia which has never been edited.

The work, by Angel Ortiz Martínez, includes more than 100 tourist itineraries and trekking through the most beautiful and amazing Carrascoy-Regional Park Sierra del Gallo and its surroundings.

Angel Ortiz, known mountaineer and author of many publications, this time emphasizing the need to preserve our natural and historic environment, together with the Mayor House, has proposed trips and meet the tours through the orchard, the wadis, mountains and desert places, full of simplicity and beauty.

The guide, whose production has helped the Department of Tourism, windows 46 is accompanied by historical and environmental documentation, 52 drawings and 23 maps that provide valuable information, complemented by the beautiful photographs of the mountains of Murcia.
