Over two hundred people participated today in the Third Meeting of Volunteers 'Sustainable Development and Voluntary Action', organized by the Office of Volunteer Services Center South Murcia Department of Health and Social Services City of Murcia.
The meeting, which was held at the Corner restaurant Huertanica has served to reflect and provide training to the volunteers who work with the city of Murcia.
The event took part responsible for the City of Murcia, Global Nature Fund, Unicef, Environmental Volunteer Program of the Autonomous Community, the Fundación Sierra Minera, FACC (Andalusian Federation of Environmental Sciences) and Acsur-Las Segovias.
It has also been given the award 'Entretodos 2008', which this year has gone Purificación Martínez Sánchez, a volunteer since 2000, working mainly in the accompaniment of children with serious illnesses.
The purpose of this meeting is to establish a forum where volunteers meeting of various associations, foundations and organizations that represent the different areas of social intervention to share their experiences.
These meetings that are held annually are aimed at volunteers from the Volunteer Bureau and other organizations and social partners working in the field of volunteerism municipality.
