The Governing Council has given the green light to a grant of 32,000 euros to the Integra Foundation for the launch of three classes of free Internet access (Walas) wireless technology in the children's home Holy Angel Murcia.
This action is included in the action entitled 'Walas Child Care Centres' Digital Citizenship Program, which is underway in the region under the Plan Avanza.
The aim of this action is available to children in care by the regional administration and training service approach that provides Internet access to information technologies, thus contributing to their integration in society.
This measure complements the actions approved during the month of October for the commissioning of free wireless classrooms in 18 centers under the Region, in collaboration with various non-profit entities and the Integra Foundation.
Thus, today approved the grant amount to 264,000 euros invested in these centers, serving about 250 children.
