The Councillor for Environment and Urban Quality, Adela Martinez-Cache, yesterday held a meeting with representatives of the bars and restaurants of the Plaza de San Juan, after complaints from neighbors who indicated that emergency vehicles could have a difficult access the square at the situation of the officers of the terraces.
Therefore, the City Council on the ground mark the space reserved for each of the establishments and may not be exceeded.
The council has offered to restaurateurs levels of access required input and output and can not be hindered by the tables and chairs.
Now the managers of bars and restaurants will have to order new licenses based on those planes.
Martínez-Cache wanted to emphasize the "readiness" of the representatives of these institutions to address this issue that concerns the residents of the Plaza de San Juan.
