The Department of Social Welfare, Gender Equality Policies and Citizenship launches fourth care center for children, to be built in the hamlet of Zarandona.
The Governing Board gave its approval to the specifications for the recruitment by open procedure, construction of the Center for Child Care of Zarandona, with an investment of one million euros.
The building will be built on a plot of 1,500 square meters and will have about a thousand meters built.
The infrastructure will include two courtyards, one on the main façade and the other between the classroom and administration areas.
The building will have over 300 square feet of classrooms, toilets for children, file, administration, changing rooms, food storage, laundry, cooking, cleaning room, dining room and a multipurpose room and reception.
This property will be accessible to persons with disabilities.
It also has protection systems against noise, energy saving and thermal insulation.
The period of execution of the works is 12 months.
This center will be the fourth of the municipality for children.
There is currently operating one in Avenida Juan Carlos I of Murcia, is finishing the work of another in Bacons Bridge and has approved the project to one Cabezo de Torres.
Murcia City Council continues to focus on the creation of centers of reconciling work and family life in order to facilitate the development of personal and professional life of the families of Murcia, and the fruit of that commitment are the works mentioned.
