They publish a book to raise awareness among young about saving water (28/10/2008)

With the intention to raise awareness among young about the importance of saving water, the Department of Education and crew, who heads Megía Pilar, has edited a book for primary school children in the municipality.

The story is entitled "The Lives of water," Mati works and illustrated by Jesus Morata Garcia Vidal.

The story tells the tale of a cloud in the sky walk Murcia and is full of water droplets, each with an illusion.

In addition to raising awareness of responsible water consumption in all areas of action of the school, the aim of publishing the story is to start reading to the smallest primary school in the municipality of Murcia.

The illustrations, the work of Jesus García Vidal, are drawings set in emblematic places of the Region of Murcia: Murcia Town Hall, the Cathedral, Cenajo Swamp, Calasparra rice fields, the sources of the Marquis de Caravaca, and the source of Circular Plaza de Murcia.

The stories will be distributed at all schools in the municipality of Murcia, and the cost is less than 6,000 euros.

This edition also gives rise to the call for a contest which will focus on theatrical representation of the story.

There will be a contest, and participating centers will be chosen one to represent "The Lives of water" in one of the most important theaters of the municipality of Murcia.
