The 'Eifman Ballet Theatre' in St. Petersburg opens new Sunday morning dance series at the Auditorium and Congress Center Victor Villegas representing one of the most successful titles that has given the company he founded and directs the renowned dancer and choreographer Boris Eifman .

The 'Eifman Ballet', recognized by the press as the best Russian ballet company, was created in 1977 by Boris Eifman, the choreographer of the Kirov more creative, a desire for independence that was identified two years later with the Choreographic Centre made available by the City of St. Petersburg, where he forged his best creations.

It is the only company in Russia to produce two new shows each year, thanks to the assiduous work of the 50 dancers who compose it.

Since 1990 the company has toured throughout Europe, South Africa, Japan and U.S., with a special presence in the Moscow Bolshoi Theatre, the Theatre of the Champs Elysees in Paris and New York City Center, which has always all his creations always praised by critics for the quality of their ingredients and the originality of the performances.

Based on the novel by Leo Tolstoy, Anna Karenina, its founder, Boris Eifman, has wanted to show, through dance, the psychological world of the characters, based on a choreography full of massive and majestic and exquisite choral scenes' pas de deux ', all spiced with a great display of special effects.

The show is scheduled at 20:30 pm in the Auditorium Sala Narciso Yepes Regional and price of the seats are 25 and 20 euros (by area).
