Youth Art Laboratory (LAB) is hosting the workshop of animation and analysis of procedures for creating 'The soul of drawing' by Juan Zamora, a young Spanish artists with wider exposure in national and international scene.
Zamora has become a reference point in using drawing as a direct instrument of emotional communication and give it life through animation very simple procedures.
Precarious animals perform with difficulty, elephants naive birds or dogs wailing of holes are drilled using this imaginary artist.
From 27 to 29 October at the Laboratorio de Arte Joven, sixteen young people participate in this course that discusses the use of drawing as an intellectual tool 'primary key', from which establishes work methods and locations and from which there is reflection.
This is a workshop where the drawings will be provided with life from a variety of techniques, ideas and disciplines, putting more emphasis on the animation 'traditional' digital and analog.
Juan Zamora (Madrid, 1982) is a promising artist who despite his youth has begun to make a name within the art world.
He has participated in important group exhibitions such as 'The Geopolitics of Animation "(CAAC Sevilla, 2007),' Everyday Stories" (Athens Greece Hellenic American Union, 2007) and the group show 'Phantasmagoria' (Museo Colecciones ICO 2007).
His work has been published in journals of contemporary art in our country and cultural supplements as ABCD.
Zamora graduated in Fine Arts from the Complutense University and has received numerous awards in recent years as the 'National Youth Institute Award' (2006), and 'circuits 05' of the Community of Madrid.
Currently teaches at the Universidad Europea de Madrid.
