Valcárcel: "Agriculture is the cushion against the crisis and a productive sector that creates jobs in the Region" (24/10/2008)

"We have supported, defended and valued agriculture as a strategic pillar of our economic system, seeking to respond to the needs expressed and reflect as far as possible, to requests from farmers," said Valcarcel, who also stressed that "agriculture in Murcia is the most modernized and high-quality and most competitive of all Spanish regions."
