The people of El Esparragal sanitation debut earlier this year.
The works, which are already underway, include the replacement and expansion of waste water collection that will serve the people as part of new development, improving sanitation for 15,000 residents of this area.
The new collector will take the sewage to the former WWTP (Wastewater Treatment Station) from where it is pumped to macrodepuradora Rincón de Gallego.
This project does not include the construction of a storm tank.
The collector that exists today has become too small to absorb the flows generated in the people and in new developments.
Work began in July and be completed early this year.
