The Department of Safety and Mapfre trigger the Caravan of Driver Education to promote responsible attitudes (22/10/2008)

Murcia City Council, through the Department of Circulation, who heads Nuria Fuentes, assists in the Caravan Road Education Mapfre Foundation to promote the pedagogical principles of security, encouraging responsible behavior and attitudes among students in relation to traffic.

To do this, they provide guidelines for behavior and experience makes them lifelike situations in a circuit.

Councillor Nuria Fuentes stressed the importance of "working in this type of action to raise awareness among young about the importance of road safety and prevent accidents."

It has also highlighted that initiatives like this "help for many students learn responsible attitudes in a playful and fun inside and outside the classroom."

The Caravan of 16 meters long, has a room equipped with audiovisual and carries all necessary equipment to set up a go-cart track 1.000m2.

Murcia will be present at from 22 to 24 October.

The objectives of this campaign highlight the starting to the participants in the knowledge and respect for road signs, hold the school in his role as conductor of bikes, karts using circuit and treat the students know and internalize civic behaviors and attitudes in the road environment through education theory and practice of road safety.

Activity reserved for the application of theoretical and practical knowledge in an area of "quasi-real" where participants will have the opportunity to meet a variety of situations to solve as kart drivers.

The recipients are 6 pupils in primary and general population aged between 10 and 12 years.
