The Association for Music in Murcia this morning the schedule for the 2008/2009 season, the Thirty-third since its inception.
In the press conference, the Director General for Cultural Promotion, Antonio Martinez, said "the commitment of this partnership, high trajectory and will remain, for classical music."
A total of 13 concerts, divided into large symphonic concerts, chamber recitals and opera, make up the program, which will take place in room Narciso Yepes Auditorium and Congress Center 'Victor Villegas' from October 21 to 12 May 2009.
President of Pro Musica, Octavio de Juan, detailed programming and defined as atypical in its diversity and attention to young audiences.
In this sense, Martinez explained that "since its inception, Pro Musica has taken into account the promotion and dissemination of young talents in the region and ensure their attendance at the concerts."
In the programming highlights the concert of the Symphony Orchestra of Izmir (Turkey), October 21, and the Radio Symphony Orchestra of Prague (Czech Republic) on 26 January.
In addition, on December 22 Symphony Orchestra of Murcia perform a tribute concert commemorating Beethoven 200 years of the premiere of Symphony No. 5.
The program also has operas as "Cosi fan tutte" by Mozart, by the Warsaw Chamber Opera, on Thursday, February 2, 'The Bat' by J.
Operentten Wiener Strauss, or 'The Marriage of Figaro' by Mozart, performed by the Symphony Orchestra of Pleven (Bulgaria).
The Association for Music of Murcia was founded in 1976 and currently has 1,283 members.
During its 32 years has held 421 performances principally engaged in symphonic chamber music concerts, but also includes opera and ballet.
The subscription price is 160 euros, 40 euros for the quarter for members.
Partner juveniles under 25 years, the full season costs 40 euros.
Concerts start at 20:00.
