The Department of Youth and Employment has already opened the deadline for Murcia who are unemployed can learn a trade, thanks to the Vocational Training Program.

This plan is funded by the Regional Employment Service and Training, the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the European Social Fund.

For the next academic year 2008/2009 will be offered two new courses, reaching in this way, eleven, with a total of 260 seats.

The unemployed can learn four construction-related courses (plumber, plasterer, painter and repair of buildings), four with the catering (cook, waiter, bar restaurant waiter and two floors), a gardening course, another joinery and other air conditioning installer.

Those who made this year for the first time are plasterer, painter, repair of buildings, bartender and waiter-bar restaurant floors.

Each of these courses has 15 seats.

This training is complemented further with the possibility of non-work internships.

Any unemployed person who is aged between 16 and 65 who want to make one of these courses, you can go to the Employment Service offices on Avenida Primero de Mayo (the Fica Campus s / n), in Murcia, on schedule 9 to 13 hours, and you will find details of all courses offered during the year 2008 and first half of 2009 will develop the city of Murcia.

The deadline is open until 30 September.

In addition, the unemployed have different support for the implementation of courses such as scholarships and transportation assistance to non-work internships, and support for the attendance of students considered at risk of social exclusion and aid to the settlement, when the student has dependent children under 6 years or dependents to the second degree.

The academic level required for the completion of these courses is that of Education Certificate or equivalent, except for the specialties of chef, housekeepers and waiters in restaurants where the required level is the Graduate School or equivalent.
