If the whole length of Miguel Indurain has a length of 7 km, this is one of the longest stretches, 2.3 km.

The width of this road is 50 meters.

This section begins at the junction with the road from Alicante and crosses its western border Zarandona approximately parallel to the Avenida Juan de Borbon to reach the height of Senda de Granada to merge onto the Plaza of the Cubes.

All intersections are traffic circles or roundabouts settled by games.

On the other hand, the paving project on Avenida Principe de Asturias (section Avenida Juan de Borbon, Miguel Indurain), is linked to the sanitation collector which serves the partial plans CR5 and CR6 (Zona Juan Carlos I and Juan de Borbón), which represents an investment of 1.5 billion euros.

Finally, the paving and collector and Avenida Almirante Loaysa amounted to 1.5 billion euros.

Importantly, the roundabout has the trace of the road, at the point of intersection of Avenida Almirante Loaysa the newly created road axis, which will connect with Santiago Avenue and the intersection with the old road Monteagudo , which is regulated by traffic light junction.

Sanitation collector extension of existing road (north collector), whose purpose is to ease entry into the tank Zarandona storms.

This avenue has 3.5-meter lanes in both directions, a central median of 3 meters and a lateral median of 1.5 meters.

The storm water drainage is resolved by placing scuppers networked sanitation.

Moreover, in all cases, the firm has been chosen is flexible type, with higher strain capacity to counter small movements

In the four projects is Mediterranean vegetation, which is an environmental improvement by the aesthetic conditions and because it is an acoustic barrier that optimizes the habitability of the residential area, although in the case of Miguel Indurain Avenue has been used tree variety with species transport centenary, so that the landscape impact of its implementation is important.
