Bonded Work begins Sangonera variant of the Green (07/08/2008)

The works of variant Sangonera la Verde continues apace with the agglomerate of the first section of this road, work has begun this week.

Part of access are already completed to facilitate traffic.

In carrying out this work, Urbamusa taken into account the high density of traffic that supports the current Sangonera road, so the temporary detours are organized specifically not to harm users.

It has also created a precast concrete box in place to harness the Null River passing through the area without need for a traffic courts.

Parallel to the work of particleboard are placing the new bridge abutments on the Reguerón and will replace the existing.

All these works are being carried out in the section called A highway linking the MU 30 to the Reguerón, while in section B, which unites with the road Reguerón MU 603 is being made earthworks.

Alternative Structuring Axis Sangonera La Verde have the capacity to 40,800 vehicles a day in the section of intersection with the replacement of the existing bridge with a new high quality ornamental (maintaining access during construction to town for the current schedule.)

The road will consist of two lanes with central median and bike lanes.

The first phase of the total South Coast covers a length of 3.5 kilometers, divided into two phases:

- Phase I, Section A: from Highway 30 to the Reguerón MU, winning company UTE C.

Schillings Hnos, SA and electrical installations Brocal SA, currently under construction particleboard

- Phase I, Section B: from the MU Reguerón to Highway 603, Hidracur winning company UTE, Trimtor Company SA, SA, currently in earthmoving.
