Full Local Police Security Plan for Summer (25/07/2008)

Prevention to protect the safety of shops and homes during the summer is the purpose of the campaign that keeps the local police in Murcia to contribute to the tranquility of the neighbors who take vacations in August.

The Department of Safety and Traffic, directed by Nuria Fuentes, began in summer 2007 and repeated now a new multimedia campaign to minimize the possible harm which might be the homes of Murcia for criminal acts such as theft or other type incidents, such as damage for damage and water spills, false alarms, fires, squatting, etc.

Neighborhood Collaboration

Therefore, all the neighbors can help by calling 092 for any suspicion of incidence, strangers hanging around the street or housing.

In the year 2007, there were 53 controls and identified 356 vehicles and 420 people.

Also carried out 14 breath tests and 24 vehicles were removed, and 4 reports of drug use on public roads.

A total of 5 weapons were seized and ten people were arrested.
