Bathers can enjoy the service in three pools bibliopiscinas over town.

Due to the success of last year this initiative will be new facilities.

The Department of Culture and European Programmes, directed Fátima Barnuevo, offers this service during the months of July and August in Murcia Park facilities (two bibliopiscinas) Aljucer, Stables, Corvera and Rincon de Seca.

The new facilities are incorporated into this initiative are the Raal, The Nora and Sangonera la Verde, which will provide books magazines and newspapers during the month of August.

Users can enjoy more than 300 titles, of which 70% are aimed at the youth and adult, and 30% are children.

In addition, newspapers and magazines may be consulted.

The theme of the copies are made available focuses primarily on literature in general, health, travel, food, people and self-esteem development and curiosities.

This year, as new, the pool Murcia Park will include a lot of books in English because it has detected an influx of foreigners at this facility.

All books are easy and comfortable reading with the aim of bathers can take advantage of their free time in the pool to read.

The bibliopiscina is a mobile library which consists of a cart with books, as well as daily newspapers and the latest magazines, attended by qualified personnel who are charged with advising and record readings loans.

The hours of service are Tuesday to Sunday from 12.40 to 19 hours.

With this initiative, the council seeks an additional year to all facilities in the access to culture through the promotion of reading habits, which are thus compatible with other forms of entertainment so common in the summer.
