The City Council encourages the consumer protection policies (16/07/2008)

Murcia City Council boosts consumer protection policies put in place further mechanisms to guarantee the rights of consumers.

Among the actions proposed were conducting campaigns for the rights and obligations of consumers, conducting information and education activities aimed at citizens, hold training courses for consumers, continuing to participate in the arbitration system consumption and performance of market research and control (campaigns at Christmas, summer ...) to ensure freshness and product quality.

The Governing Board has given approval to a partnership agreement with the Autonomous Region for this purpose.
