The Department of Social Economy, launched by the University of Murcia and Caja Mediterráneo, create an observatory of companies and organizations of this type and perform a number of reports on them, as noted today in his presentation, held in convalescence.
In this presentation, the director of the Chair, Rosalie Alfonso, said the observatory will have as one of its aims to highlight the problems and strategies of these companies and facilitate decision-making.
Alfonso, who is professor of Law at the University of Murcia, and activities proposed to undertake the production of reports on the situation of social economy enterprises, on the adaptation of its charter with the regional law on cooperative societies and tax issues and accounting.
The director added that not forget the macro and micro analysis and preparation of courses and seminars on topics of interest to these companies.
In actual field researcher, said as lines of action relating to the corporate system of social economy organizations, the civil liability of members and workers and corporate responsibility, among others.
In the presentation, the rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, welcomed the interest of the President of the Autonomous Community, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, the creation of the Chair, as well as the financial support of Caja Mediterráneo, whose territorial president, Ángel Martínez attended the ceremony.
Martinez stressed the importance of these companies have in regional development, adding that the fund which is always support to the Chair.
Among the other attendees were CEOs of Labor and Industries, Fernando José Vélez and Gines Vivancos, respectively, and the rector of Economics, Antonio Calvo-Flores, and the president of the Cooperative Union of the Region of Murcia, Juan Antonio Pedroza.
