Murcia city has established itself as conference and each year attracts more people participating in conferences, conventions and conferences.

89% of the meetings was due to local initiative.
In addition, 51% were organized by public institutions and 49% by private companies.
The sector that has organized number of conferences is the economic and trade (32%), followed by doctor (15%), cultural (15%) and science (7%).
As for the origin of the participants, most (97%) came from the national territory-especially in Andalusia, Madrid, Catalonia and Valencia, and 3% are foreigners.
