Employment for disadvantaged mothers and a nursery for children (09/07/2008)

The Consistory supports the work of the Education Association of Espinardo which starts from 1992, the Nursery School Education project.

This is a space for families in situations of hardship and social exclusion.

In the Infant School project involved parents with low educational level and employment with little prospect of getting a job as caretakers of children, and a group of 50 children between 6 and 3 years.

With this initiative is to allow the small appropriate care to their needs by providing them with basic food and accustomed to a schedule and hygiene standards.

Educational guidelines are provided in the classroom as an alternative to the 'aging in the street', a space where children would spend more time if they were not able to attend nursery school.

Also encouraged the parents socialized patterns that affect the best education for their children.

Among the activities the children in nursery school is games with stories and songs, free play inside and outside the classroom, and line management with pencils and crayons, playing with clay and finger paint, play and motor development for language development.

The nursery also conducts activities for parents and lectures by psychologists to inform and guide on the different moments in the evolutionary process of minors theater workshop, puppet workshop, sewing workshop and excursions.

In addition, Education celebrates holidays such as Christmas, Carnival, end of year, trip to the beach ...

During the month of July there is a summer school for 50 children aged 1 to 6 years.

The Governing Board has approved a grant of 59,000 euros for this project.
