The work developed by the Quality Unit of the University of Murcia was recognized by the ISO 9001 certificate awarded by the SGS / CSI in Spain.
The delegate of the Rector for Quality, Antonio López Cabanes, said at the awards ceremony, held in convalescence, to obtain this certificate is a pleasure, but turn a challenge because it requires maintaining a high level of demand .
Cabanes Professor Lee referred to the importance for the quality of the participation and involvement of the entire team of the University, which has resulted in an overall plan that includes evaluation of teachers and the qualifications and the development of service charters and improvement actions on the part of university services.
The rector, José Antonio Cobacho, concurred in this idea of the importance of personal commitment and reiterated the commitment of his administration to enhance the quality issues.
The event was attended by Chairman of the Board of the University, Juan Bernal, director general of Universities, Juana Maria Zapata, the manager, Pedro Galvez, and the head of the Quality Department, Francisca Martínez Faura.
