The Delegation of the Government guarantees the right to work as bus drivers, but can not compel compliance with the minimum services (30/06/2008)

Since last Friday, by officials of the government team Murcia City Council have issued statements in relation to urban transport strike in which those "seem to want to dump on the Government Office responsibilities relate only to them."

Thus, they say, from the Delegation of the Government-must make the following points:

- "Neither the Government Office, and of course the Security Forces of the State, it is compelled to comply with the minimum dictated by that strike."

- "Any decisions regarding penalties for failure to apply only those minimum services to the company and the authority that dictates those (ie, the City Council and the Autonomous Community)."

- "The Delegation of the Government itself agrees that the Security Forces of the State - who have been tracking point of conflict since its inception - will ensure the free movement on public roads for all drivers who want to work longer whom this will be prevented by enforcement actions of others. "

It should be noted that so far no complaints have been filed against anyone for that type of action.
