The general director of Books, Archives and Libraries, Francisco Giménez, this morning's program of activities 'School Vacation' aimed at children from 8 months to 12 years during July.
Gimenez stressed that "the objective of this program is to attract more young people to the library by creating a fun and educational entertainment."
It offered a total of 1,350 seats, of which 750 are for workshops and 600 for storytelling and theater.
The program of activities has a variety of proposals such as theater, workshops and storytelling, with the news that the two latter have a sign language interpreter.
Activities for children are designed to "stimulate and develop the intelligence of the smallest line with current educational guidelines," said the general director of the Book.
At the workshops this year include the incorporation of 'Cool Science', in which some players approach this field of knowledge through experiments.
In addition, the workshop called 'Makow panienka' ('The Flower Girl Poppy', a Polish count) included in the events taking place in the Library to mark the tenth anniversary of the Polish consulate in Murcia.
The story is about the integration and intecultural and is included in the program "Libraries for everyone."
On the other hand, storytelling, intended for all audiences, "is an activity that can not be waived since it is a way to engage children in the narrative and serves to promote reading.

This program of activities, coincidiende with the summer holidays and Christmas, have a great acceptance by the public and deal with all the places offered.
Are two workshops per day and this year have formed two groups by age, a 4 to 7 years and another 8 to 12 years.
