The Committee on General Affairs plenary, held this morning, given the approval to the settlement of the budget for fiscal year 2007.

Following the Popular Party's election commitment, revenue to the city of Murcia have been below the CPI.
And the total consolidated revenue was 442 million euros.
In terms of debt (financial liabilities), it has risen from EUR 219,992,474.31, in December 2006 to EUR 208,378,913.35, in December 2007.
In the chapter on investment, budget settlement indicates that projects have been implemented in the city and in the districts for a total amount of 70,572,275.93 euros.
Of the total of activities planned in 2007, 140 million euros corresponded to Murcia City and another 140 million euros to the Planning Department.
In terms of investments for the City of Murcia, are in the process of implementing actions for a total of 65 million euros.
In respect of investments under the Planning Department, there are pending proceedings for a total of more than 84.2 million euros.
Note that road infrastructure and new roads continue to be one of the key points to which the City of Murcia has allocated a significant economic volume.
We are talking about actions such as the works of Miguel Indurain (almost completed), main road from Dolores, variant Cobatillas, Avda Principe de Asturias (already completed), Avenida Almirante Loaysa (will soon begin the action), Coastal North and South, divert Sangonera La Verde and vials Murcia Country districts (the latter also start in short time), among other actions.
Creation of the great green Murcia (North Park), Park West, repair Teatro Romea (to be completed in short time), Congress Palace, Artillery Barracks, Science and Technology Park, building costumes sports facilities, facility artificial turf on football fields of hamlets, Beniaján pool, construction and expansion of higher social centers, medical office building in Barriomar, San Juan, Javalí Old Man and The Brace, remodeling of gardens (Chinese Garden), among other actions.
In point of payment to suppliers, the figure is quite satisfactory, since they have approved bills worth 345 million euros.
