The Department of Culture is organizing the first time, workshops in August (23/06/2008)

You are now ready to adults and children enjoy the summer in local museums.

As a novelty, the Department of Culture has organized workshops during the month of August as the council undertook last year Barnuevo.

At the Museum of Science and Water will be two workshops related to climate change, the registration period begins tomorrow, Tuesday, from 8 o'clock.

In "Earth in your hands' children from 5 to 8 years old can learn more about the planet and develop positive attitudes towards environmental conservation.

The hours are Monday to Friday from 10.30 to 13.30.

There will be two groups of 15 seats each: the first workshop held on 1 to 15 July and the second from 17 to 31 July.

The price is € 15.30.

The second workshop of the Museum of Science, 'Give it a spin on climate change' is for children from 9 to 12 years and through it can understand the causes of climate change, the impact on ecosystems and can make objects out of recycled material .

The schedule and price are the same as the previous.

The first group will be from 1 to 15 July, the second from 17 to 31 July and the third from 1 to 14 August.

The City Museum is organizing a summer workshop 'games yesterday and today', with which the council aims to introduce participants to the games and popular songs and compare them with existing ones.

Be open to children aged between 8 and 12, in groups of up to twenty.

The workshops will last four days, with hours between 10 and 13 hours.

In July will be held from Tuesday to Friday and August Monday to Thursday.

In the Museo Ramón Gaya, children and adults can learn the techniques to paint still lifes.

The course for adults will be taught by the painter Angel Hernansaez 1 to July 11.

On July 1 the dealer José Julián Buigues will provide an introduction to the still life while 2.3 and 4 July will be the turn of a practical classes.

On July 7, the museum's director, Manuel Fernández Delgado talk about the still life painters of the 27th and on July 8, journalist Pedro Soler will offer a lecture on the still life after the war.

On 9, 10 and 11 July to be held back a practical classes.

The hours are from 10.30 to 13.30 and registration costs 30 euros.

The children will turn 31 July to 8 August.

The lecture will be given by Manuel Fernández Delgado on July 31 and the rest of the days will be devoted to practical classes taught by Extracole, managers of education in their free time.

The hours are from 11 to 13 hours and costs 15 euros.

Ramón Gaya Museum has also reserved a conference for music.

The museum will be heard Wednesday from July 16 until August 27 pieces of Verdi, Strauss, Wagner, Puccini and Bellini.
