The initiative was a collaborative effort between the city-through the Department of Environment and Urban Quality-and Mountaineering Federation of Murcia and it is intended that the Murcia travel that distance along a path signposted points of interest runs through the village.

Murcia has thus become the first Spanish city to have this circuit, joining other European capitals that have already implemented this initiative as healthy and sustainable.

The road signs on the route help the traveler to stay in the route and have even accompanied by a few small panels that are reflected in a series of gentle exercises that help maintain fitness.

The trail drive by 10,000 steps, which is the recommended distance that must go daily to be in good shape and is equivalent to seven miles long and requires about an hour and a half.

This route runs through landscaped areas and pedestrian streets of the city or renovated.

The start and end of the route is the roundabout of Spain, and from there left for the Old Bridge, Floridablanca, Convalescence, Cathedral, Tatters, Santo Domingo, Jaime I, Garden of San Esteban, Garden Silk Museum Salzillo, Pasaje under highway, the four Stones, Pier and map San Francisco.

In addition, the center ring of this trail connections were added to the eight districts of Murcia.
