Health Services of the Municipality of Murcia have continued today with the spraying for mosquitoes on the banks of the river and on the Malecon.
In addition, the gardens have been sprayed powder and silk.
Three teams of six people in total fumigation began this morning at 7.30 am in the Boardwalk and on both banks of the river from the Malecon to the Puente de La Fica.
Furthermore, it has acted in trees, shrubs and green areas adjacent to this area as the Plaza Camacho and Glorieta.
The teams take about an hour to perform the fumigation, and repeat the operation on Thursday, June 19.
The insecticide used is cast through nozzles and through a flue.
In addition, the product used is not harmful to health.
Municipal Health Services, which runs Fulgencio Cervantes, have led to the Segura basin (CHS) that fumigate the sludge of the river, and that is where are the larvae of mosquitoes.
Work on the river are the responsibility of the CHS.
