A total of 90 people at risk of social exclusion can work through a local initiative called "Solidarity work," which promotes access to employment in the sector of care for dependents.
For 18 months, 90 unemployed receive theoretical training to realize this work.
The objectives of this project are to promote social inclusion and employment of people with difficulties in finding a job, and insert them in the care sector dependence and personal empowerment, so that also promotes the creation of new services and companies in this sector.
Today's society is facing a significant increase for dependent persons, so that one of the areas of employment generation is in the care of seniors and people with special needs.
In fact, the field of Home Care is showing more potential, followed by Child Care.
Therefore, the services that generate a greater demand for employment are Telecare, Home Help, Sheltered Housing, Day Centres and Residences assisted with the potential to create 10,000 jobs in the region, according to studies the CARM.
Most of these jobs will benefit groups with difficulties in the labor market: women, workers with low skills, long-term unemployed and young people seeking their first job.
Trainees over 18 months (this period includes theoretical and practical training) will be 90 unemployed in the following ages:
Young 15
Over 45 years 25
Long-term unemployed 15
Other disadvantaged persons 15
Remaining unemployed form 20
The courses are divided into training modules in groups of 15 students, Hygiene and home care, specialized care for people with degenerative dementias, hospital nursing assistant, Monitor of Leisure and Recreation for People with Special needs and Assistant Kitchen Community Services.
The project begins with a service orientation, set on 300 people unemployed and worked with other service provides the City of Murcia: Area of major disabilities, women, (especially victims of abuse); Social Inclusion Programme
On the other hand, a tutor will address their needs, while different professionals will attend to every person (social workers, psychologists, teachers ...).
The beneficiaries have a Toy Library service to provide assistance and will be available for a computer room equipped with computers to enhance the knowledge gained in new technologies, information search and complete their training and job placement.
As for the financing of this project is interesting to note that the cost amounts to EUR 455,113.54, of which the City provides 91,022 euros and the Ministry of Public Administration, 364,090 euros.
For the first time has not been granted by the State Administration of 100% of the project.
