Knowing the intricacies of the nervous system.
This is the aim of the exhibition 'Landscapes Neural' organized by the Department of Culture and the Obra Social La Caixa, which will be open until June 1 at the Museum of Science and Water.
The exhibition collects 50 previously unpublished images made with the latest techniques for neuroscientists around the world that show the evolution of knowledge of the nervous system from the time of Ramon y Cajal to the present, and how even today is still using the methodology Nobel award.
These works have been selected from more than 430 images submitted by 62 neuroscience laboratories around the world and are accompanied by texts created by artists, philosophers, writers and other intellectuals.
The show is directed by Javier de Felipe, Institute of Neurobiology Ramón y Cajal, and Henry Markram, director of the Brain Mind Institute in Lausanne.
Will be open from Tuesday to Saturday, 10 to 14 and from 17 to 20 hours, Sundays and holidays from 11 to 14 hours.
