A total of 69 families received aid last year to rent private housing through the line of support established by the city of Murcia to promote access to housing of Murcia, the Board of Governors has re-approved for the year 2008.
Since 2006, the housing service calls these subsidies for rents in the private market, that target families enrolled in the Municipal Register of housing applicants, who are paying a rental for an amount greater than 25% of its income.
The maximum set annually is 3,000.
The grant is awarded for one year at the rate that applies in relation to the socio - economic circumstance, family income, rental income and housing conditions and extended in cases of collective preference:
Single parent
Large family
Victims of domestic violence
Families with a disabled member
Over 65 years, heads of families where there are no members with work activity.
