The Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, delivered this morning to 8 young people the keys to their new homes built under Monteagudo Municipal Plan.
The building is located on Avenida Pedro Díaz Cassou and houses have an area ranging between 55 and 90 m2, with a purchase price, including the garage and the attic, between 80,000 and 118,000 euros plus VAT.
The houses have been built on a parcel of municipal property and have been promoted by Ciad & Alsibeal, a company that was awarded in the competition sponsored by the City Council for disposal.
This is not the first housing development built in Monteagudo youth.
In June 2006 the Mayor House and delivered another 22 houses in this hamlet.
Furthermore, it is not yet licensed to start work on another promotion with 13 houses.
The Municipal Housing Plan has so far set up 782 homes for young people, which are already delivered to their owners 463 in 18 sales, while other 96-5-promotions-are under construction and 107 more-in 5 promotions, are pending license to begin construction.
The remaining 116 homes are in the process of writing project.
Incorporating Future projects and Housing Young Young Sangonera La Verde, are 5,000 children under 35 who can access a protected house in Murcia.
In addition, Murcia soil has managed to build 13,000 housing.
The Housing Plan is driven by the city of Murcia and try to respond to the needs of young people under 35 and other protective groups preferably disabled, women victims of gender violence and large families-who have difficulty accessing a house on the open market.
Thus, they can buy a decent home at an affordable price.
To make this possible, the City Council out to tender to sell parcels of property with a fixed price or builders and developers have the blueprints for the relevant promotion.
Once submitted these bids, the City Council awarded the contract value and for the construction of housing.
