Sports supports the practice of cycling and basketball (16/04/2008)

The City Council supports cycling, basketball and wheelchair basketball with the award of grants to various clubs in the municipality.

Specifically, the Department of Sports, headed by Miguel Cascales, subsidizes Sports Cycling Club 2008, Club Baloncesto Murcia SAD and the team of Wheelchair Basketball.

The purpose of the Sports Council is to bring the sport to all Murcia and facilitate access to quality facilities at an affordable price.
