The library will host more than twenty of activities to celebrate World Book Day (18/04/2008)

April 23 is chosen by UNESCO to celebrate World Book Day.

Therefore, the Department of Culture has organized more than two dozen activities that take place between 21 and 25 of this month, at various public libraries: Beniaján, El Palmar, Espinardo, Guadalupe, La Alberca, El Carmen, San Basilio, Sangonera the Green River Segura.

They develop reading, monologues, storytelling, rake books, poetry, guided tours, exhibitions, workshops, concerts ...

Also we have tried to launch the campaign 'Sainfoin' which aims to promote the library service and raise awareness of the possibilities offered by these centers.

In addition to the publication of postcards and banners to be placed in libraries, the next day 23 three carts will travel Floridablanca, Santo Domingo, Belluga Plaza, Plaza de la Fuensanta and garden of Fame which will provide information on the Municipal Library Network and delivered gifts to distribute to the public.

The 'Day Book' in museums

The municipal museums are also joining the celebration of World Book Day.
