As each spring, the youth organization brings together all partners in a municipality to celebrate the name day of their patron, St. George, and this time the turn has come to Murcia.
Hundreds of children and young people from 28 groups in the region -12 of them living in the municipality of Murcia, have enjoyed a full program of activities, which also has continued during the afternoon and evening.
The inaugural ceremony with which he has started the journey took place at 10.30 am in the Plaza Belluga.

Murcia has received calls from Granada, after a long journey that began on February 22 last year and has taken him from Kenya to Ethiopia, Sudan, Egypt, Greece, Italy, France, Britain and Portugal, among other countries.
The journey of the torch was promoted by the association of former scouts, coinciding with the anniversary of the establishment of Scouting.
